Smörgåstårta

This was enough for 20-25 pieces: (There are no rules! You can put almost anything in and on a smörgåstårta!) Important to keep everything cold until serving!

Ingredienser

  • 36 slices of white bread
  • 15-20 (depending size) eggs boiled for 10 minutes (cold)
  • 3 packages of sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp(45 ml) Dijon mustard
  • 3 packages cream cheese
  • 3 chili fruits
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 package salted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 24 slices smoked ham
  • 3 packages smoked salmon
  • 3 packages traditional american bacon, finely chopped and fried.
  • 1 tube Wasabi (maybe 1/2 enough ;)
  • 200 gr grated cheese
  • 30 very small tomatoes
  • 2 lemons
  • dried Dill
  • 1/2 chopped red onion
  • salt

The day before serving: On a big tray (that fits in the refrigerator):

  1. 12 slices of bred spread with butter
  2. Mix 2 pkg. sour cream with 3 tbsp Dijon mustard and a pinch of salt, add the chopped eggs. Spread over bread.
  3. 12 slices of bread spread with butter.
  4. Mix 2 pkg. of cream cheese with 1 pkg. sour cream, finely chopped chili and crushed garlic. Spread over bread.
  5. 12 slices of bread spread with butter
  6. Cover tight with cling wrap. Leave in the refrigerator.

Serving day: Rinse lettuce with plenty of water and a splash of vinager. Try to let it dry on paper towels. Chop fine and cover the cake.

Mix 1 pkg. cream cheese with wasabi, make small rolls of salmon with this filling in.

Grate the cheese and make rolls of ham with the cheese in. (I cut them in halves)

I arranged the bacon in 4 rows with the ham rolls and tomatoes on top.

4 other rows with the salmon rolls, slices of lemon and a little dill.

Chopped onion all over.

Done! Cover again and keep cool until serving!
